Philip Nickerson, P.Eng
Philip Nickerson, P.Eng, is an aquaculture engineer with specialized, hands-on experience in land-based seawater systems. This includes designing and building dozens of shellfish holding tanks and depuration systems. He is recognized worldwide for his work in shellfish holding and exporting, as well as his expertise in water heating and cooling.
One of Philip’s most noteworthy past projects was the installation of a heat pump system for the St. Andrews Biological Station (SABS) Wet Lab. There, he built a strong reputation as an expert engineer. Other engineers on the project could trust in his knowledge on anything relating to aquaculture, refrigeration, and process heat pumps.
